Only a couple of pictures. But Jody and Hatch led a fun trip. Saw a couple of things I had not seen there before.

We had a good time at Tumbling Rock February 16. Gary, Bill, John and James went up Mt. Olympus. Maybe I'll make it up to see the Pillar of Fire next time. We pretty much had the place to ourselves.

Gerald led a trip to Mason Cave Sunday 01-13-2008. I think we saw pretty much all the cave on the map. Nice cave. Pretty clean and not much graffiti.

I didn't get very many good pictures inside the cave, but did get a few that show the scale of the huge entrance.

We had a good time escaping the rainy weather and traffic.

A couple of pics from Gourdneck to accompany Joey's photos.

Gerald and Avis led us around a little bit in Rutherford County. The first pit was Bluehole Pit. Andrew found the entrance fairly quickly.

Fallen Cross Well is in a different area and interesting geologically. There isn't much topsoil. I wouldn't want to try to garden or farm much around there. But there is a bunch of crevices and holes in the ground everywhere.

Even though it was a hot July day, I had fun hiking through the cactus and buzzards base jumping their roosts.

I thought these photos had been posted already. Someone at the last meeting asked about a mud cave or something like that. Nothing from inside the cave, but Hatch wore some of the cave back outside.
