This cave is a real treat to visit, whether you've ever seen it or not. It's an easy cave, and is only about 400 feet long total, but it's just covered up with decorations. There's even decorations growing on the other decorations.

You'll need the standard caving gear:

Helmet
Three Lights
Sturdy clothing, boots.
A small pack with water and a snack.
Knee pads and gloves are recommended.

Cameras are definitely recommended. When I went, Dr. Halliday brought a disposable camera and took some really good pictures.

There are a few tight places, but they're short, and only one is necessary to get into the main cave.

We'll meet at the Shoney's on Bell Road and I-40 and leave there by 9am. The cave is just on the other side of Monteagle Mountain, so it's not too long of a trip. We'll probably make a quick stop at Martin Springs to see a really pretty resurgence there. This won't be an all day trip, so we'll probably be back in Nashville by mid or late afternoon.
