From TAG-NET: The SKTF will be holding it's next cleanup on Saturday December 9th, during the Cumberland Caverns Christmas Party. We will be cleaning an old trash filled sink near Campaign TN. The land owner has a small cave nearby which we are welcome to visit. Of course no one knows what is under that trash........ (sorry, Jeff) We will be operating our vertical lift system to remove the appliances and heavy stuff. Since Warren County has had such good experience with cavers and the SKTF during Rocky River, a phone call was all that was needed to secure a dumpster. Start: 5:00 pm

The annual Cumberland Caverns Christmas Party will be Saturday, December 9. If you are already on their mailing list, they will send you an application form for tickets. If you are not on their mailing list, but would like to come, contact them at: info [at] cumberlandcaverns [dot] com Reservations ARE required. Some of the local Grottos usually lead cave trips in the area during the day, there are vendors set up in the parking lot, and there is a great party in the cave from about 6-10, including banquet and live Christmas music. This is a family-oriented, non-alcoholic party, just for the record. | ||
