Joey Stuckey will be leading a Wednesday Night trip to Swirl Canyon Cave on December 13th. We will meet at the Shoney's at the Bell Road Exit of I-24 in Antioch at 6 PM. This cave is suitable for beginners; very little climbing and crawling except for a short crawl (100' or so) at the beginning of the cave.

Kristen Bobo and Joe Douglas will be leading a trip to a large horizontal cave in Fentress County on Saturday December 16. We plan to go to Zarathustra Cave, but if it rains a lot and river levels are high we will likely go to Buffalo Cave as a back-up.

The first meeting place is the I-40/Lebanon Shoneys Rest. at 8 AM (exit 238). The second meeting place is the park and ride at the I-40/highway 111 exit in cookeville (exit 288, then left) at c.

The Grotto will hold its annual Christmas Party at the home of Hal and Lisa Love on Thursday, December 21st. The Christmas Party takes place instead of the regularly scheduled Executive Meeting.

Work off that extra turkey and dressing with a trip to Hardin's!

On December 27 Steve Cooper to lead trip to Hardins Cave.

Meet at the Waffle House off I-40 at White Bridge Road in West Nashville at 6:30 or at the cave at 7.

Suitable for cavers of all experience levels.

If you need to borrow a helmet, let someone know beforehand.

The next monthly meeting of the Nashville Grotto will occur on Thursday, January 4 at 7pm at the Adventure Science Center.

The program for January will a slide presentation by Joe Douglas of the caves he and others visited during 2006. Joe is a prolific caver and his annual caving review is always interesting and entertaining.

There will be the usual beer and burgers at Brown's Diner after the meeting.

Going away party for Heather Levy at Gerald and Avis Moni's house at 6:30 pm.
