SCCi Members and their guests are invited to a Fricks Cave Open House on Saturday, February 17, 2007 from 9:00 to 4:30 p.m. eastern time at the cave in Walker County, Georgia. Because the federally protected endangered grey bats are not currently in residence, the SCCi is able to allow visitation (provided that the bats do not return). Fricks is a stream cave, and can be very cold and wet at that time of year. Please dress accordingly.Weather permitting, there will be a cookout, which will begin at 4:30 p.m. Please stick around for a while around the fire for some burgers and hot dogs and visit with friends. Current SCCi members have been mailed an invitation with directions to the preserve. | ||

The Nashville Grotto would like to extend an invitation for all TAG cavers to attend a special presentation at our monthly meeting on March 1, 2007 at 7pm at the Adventure Science Center in Nashville, TN. Ed Yarbrough will present a tribute to Harry White (NSS 8336), who recently passed away. The presentation will include photos from cave trips Ed attended with Harry from 1969 through 1990. Harry was a superb photographer of caves, pits and natural subjects. | ||

Yes, you can go caving without leaving Davidson County. Hardins Cave is a great beginners cave located in the western part of the County. The meeting spot is the Waffle House at I-40 and White Bridge Road at 6:30p or 7pm at the cave. For more information, contact Alan Hatcher | ||

The March Executive meeting will be held on March 15, 2007 at 7pm at the home of Gerald and Avis Moni. The Executive Meeting is open to all grotto members and usually involves setting up trips for the upcoming month and other grotto business, along with good food and drink. | ||
