Fricks Cave Open House - Saturday February 17
SCCi Members and their guests are invited to a Fricks Cave Open House on Saturday, February 17, 2007 from 9:00 to 4:30 p.m. eastern time at the cave in Walker County, Georgia.
Because the federally protected endangered grey bats are not currently in residence, the SCCi is able to allow visitation (provided that the bats do not return). Fricks is a stream cave, and can be very cold and wet at that time of year. Please dress accordingly.Weather permitting, there will be a cookout, which will begin at 4:30 p.m. Please stick around for a while around the fire for some burgers and hot dogs and visit with friends. Current SCCi members have been mailed an invitation with directions to the preserve.

Note from Hatch: We usually carpool and caravan up there so leave a reply to this message if you're interested so we can gauge the interest.
