Exec. Committee Meeting and Grotto Christmas Party, Thursday, December 20
The December Executive meeting will be held on Thursday, December 20 at 7pm at the home of Hal and Lisa Love in the Whites Creek area of Nashville. The Executive Meeting is open to all grotto members and usually involves setting up trips for the upcoming month and other grotto business, along with good food and drink. Please bring food to share.

In addition to the usual, we will be having a party. Everyone is encouraged to bring a “dirty Santa” gift ($10 gift limit) to exchange.

Spring and summer are the seasons for caving events around the southeast:
SERA, KY Speleofest, the TAG Fall Cave-In, NSS Convention, Pupfest, just to
name a few.

The newest annual caving festival, now in it's third year, is 'PorterFest,
hosted by the Southport Chronic Cavers Grotto of Columbia, TN (and the
surrounding area). This year's event will be held near Short Mountain in
Cannon County, TN, about 5 miles ENE of Woodbury. There are plenty of caves

Tag On The Mountain site on Lookout Mountain in Georgia. Come join the Dogwood City Grotto, so we can thank you and celebrate 30 years of TAG Fall Cave-In’s and TAG caving!  No dogs, generators, ATV’s, Golf Carts, fires in the field or bombs are permitted. The Grotto will hold its annual Christmas Party at the home of Hal and Lisa Love on Thursday, December 21st. The Christmas Party takes place instead of the regularly scheduled Executive Meeting.

Details and directions will be posted very soon, but save the date on your calendar.

The annual Cumberland Caverns Christmas Party will be Saturday, December 9. If you are already on their mailing list, they will send you an application form for tickets.

Some of the local Grottos usually lead cave trips in the area during the day, there are vendors set up in the parking lot, and there is a great party in the cave from about 6-10, including banquet and live Christmas music. This is a family-oriented, non-alcoholic party, just for the record.
